Bringing our influential network together this summer to give something back
Last year we were lucky enough to hold our summer party on one of the hottest days of the year, this year wasn't quite as sunny but the performances were exceptional.
High above London's streets on Omnicom's roof terrace, we enjoyed brave poetry alongside a delicious BBQ spread and cocktails sponsored by Pernod Ricard.
As many of you know, each year we like to champion a good cause as part of our Marketing for Good initiative, so, this year the inspirational and brave, Hussain Manawer shared his thought-provoking poetry about Mental Health with you.
Our Chief Executive Gemma Greaves also used the event to announce that Marketing for Good has been re-named to Marketing for Change, to reflect our focus on having uncomfortable conversations in a comfortable environment.
Greaves explained, 'Inspired by our friends at Time for Change, and Sue Baker and her team, we are going to collaborate to encourage change where the stigma around mental health is no more.'
She added that in the six months since started her new role, she's 'learned it’s OK to be myself, to be brave and enable the real conversations to happen, we are all human, we are all fallible and together we are better. Together we can create change.'
