We’re delighted to announce our CEO Conversation with ITV’s first ever female chief executive, Carolyn McCall DBE, is taking place on Thursday 26 September, 1.00pm – 3.00pm at Asia House, Marylebone.

In January 2018, Carolyn joined ITV ready to the face the challenges of a rapidly-changing media landscape. Her goal was to shake off the company’s cosy image and “look at the future from a consumer perspective”. Following a successful summer where Love Island and the World Cup dominated our screens, ITV has unveiled a new vision under her watch – ‘More than TV’ – a refreshed strategy and plans to drive profit to ensure the business is well positioned for the future.

It’s not the first time Carolyn has worked her marketing magic. She is widely credited for EasyJet’s transformation during her tenure as chief executive, breaking financial records and changing public perception of the company.

During our lunch, hosted by our Chairman, John Lewis’ Craig Inglis, Carolyn will reveal what it takes to become one of six female CEOs in FTSE 100 companies; her career highs and lows, and what lessons any aspiring chief executive needs to know.
