We were delighted to have Dougal Sharp, founder & managing director of Innis & Gunn, speaking at our first Albion Dinner of 2014.
Innis & Gunn is a specialist independent brewing company based in Edinburgh. Established in 2003, it was discovered when thirsty distillery workers realised that the whisky barrel-seasoning ale they were supposed to be pouring down the drain was actually a very fine beer! By investing in this unconventional product, Dougal has created one of the world’s most renowned oak ages beers.
Dougal told his story and answered questions at this very special dinner hosted within the Innis & Gunn headquarters. Guests also had the opportunity to sample a variety of Innis & Gunn beers, which were each matched to each course served.
This event was now sold out.
Dougal was kind enough to answer a short questionnaire:

I can't wait for 2014 to be over, because by the end we will know if our new strategies are working.
The Albion Dinners are about being inspired by great marketing-led business success stories.
We invite speakers who are founder/CEOs who recognise the importance of marketing in the Boardroom. And we also encourage you to bring along other senior directors from your business as your guest.
