At this event we examined the role of effective planning, from being central to creative development and digital communications strategy, to the logistical and technical requirements of major film and photography productions.

Nicci Motiang, Head of Planning, The Union
Nicci develops strategies and research projects for a wide variety of private and public sector clients at The Union. She has worked in a range of global agency networks in Melbourne, Vienna and London as well as spending time as a media strategist, German teacher, crisis line counsellor and journalist. She has also written 2 Marketing Society Gold Star award winning case studies.
Marie Owen, Founder and CEO, LS Productions
Marie founded the company as Locate Scotland in 2016 and is now the UK’s largest stills and motion services production company with clients that range from O2, Peugeot, Johnnie Walker, Marks & Spencer and Bank of Scotland to Stella McCartney and Florence + The Machine. She describes herself as the conductor of a world-class orchestra.
Maddy Sim, Strategy Director, Dentsu Aegis
Maddy is a strategy lead at Dentsu Aegis, with experience working on digital activation both here and in Australia. She brings appreciation for data, borne out of years in PPC, into her current role as a Strategy Director sitting across offline and online channels – she uses insight, industry innovation and constant testing to get the most out of accounts.
