The first module is highly stimulating. We kick-off the programme with an introduction to marketing leadership and discuss the importance of creating an inspiring sense of purpose for you, the team and organisation.
Across the three days, participants will be inspired by marketing leaders from blue chip organisations and spend time exploring their own leadership styles, challenges and opportunities.
Day 1: Introduction to customer centred leadership and insight
The Marketing Society’s Marketing Leader of the Year 2013, Sarah Warby, gives her personal perspectives on the nature of marketing leadership, reflecting on how to leverage customer insights and her own personal values.
In the afternoon, delegates will take part in a group exercise and de-brief to define their individual marketing leadership objectives and the implications for their roles.
Later, top leadership coach Anni Townend gives an introduction to models of leadership styles and development, encouraging personal insights. Participants will discover that they have a choice of leadership styles and understand which one will be most effective for them.
Brand Director Northern Europe for P&G, Roisin Donnelly, will wrap up the afternoon by discussing her own journey as a marketing leader and what this has taught her about how to generate and apply insight to drive a customer-centric organisation.
