One of the best places to discover current trends and innovations in emerging technology and digital creativity is the South by Southwest festival (SXSW) in Austin, Texas and if you're not planning to make the trip yourself, fear not.
Our partners SapientNitro were at the festival hoovering up knowledge and best practice and brought it back to share with you. In company with our fellow members - and over delicious canapés and bubbles - we heard from SapientNitro’s Magnus Fitchett, executive planning director; Daniel Harvey, creative director experience design; and Adriana Coppola, digital strategist; who revealed, hot off the press, the top 10 trends, innovations and emerging technologies.

We’re now able to manage and monitor our own brains - neurostimulation is becoming more and more accessible.
There is no better way to kill new technology than bad content, specifically advertising.
It's no longer the government who monitors people, it’s marketers, and the government is asking for our help.
