David started his career as an Account Handler at KLP Euro RSCG (part of the Havas group) working on legendary brands such as Guinness and Smirnoff in Ireland and Scottish Rugby closer to home. In 2003 he was one of Multiply’s first recruits which has allowed him over the past 15 years to work with brands such Tennent’s Lager, The Macallan, Highland Park, Highland Spring, Camelot, Lactalis, After Shock, RBS, Whyte and MacKay to name but a few.
As Head of Business at Multiply, David’s role covers client servicing, strategy and innovation. A position that has allowed him to receive some of the best client briefs in Scotland and unfortunately write some pretty ropey briefs to Multiply’s own studio. Briefs that have resulted in the production of the world’s biggest Saltire, Maxxium being the UK’s largest importer of inflatable sheep, and Tennent’s starting a glassware revolution in Scotland.
