Darran Barton is Client Partner for Innovation and Interactive at Bright Signals, where he helps clients explore how emerging technologies can solve real business and communication challenges. He also leads the agency’s internal AI Working Group, helping teams understand, test and adopt generative AI in ways that are practical, responsible and human-led.

Darran has worked in marketing, digital and creative industries for nearly 20 years, with experience across brand, innovation, product development, digital strategy and interactive experiences. He has worked with organisations and brands including Gucci, Ralph Lauren and Ardbeg.

His current focus is the relationship between AI and human capacity: how new tools can support better judgement, stronger creativity, clearer thinking and more meaningful work, rather than simply creating more output.
