Darren Burns

Based in Singapore, Darren leads Golin and its agency brands in APAC –  named Best Agency in Asia Pacific at the PRWeek Global Awards 2025 and Best APAC Network to Work For 2025 by PRovoke Media. Darren has extensive experience across the region, from launching new companies and initiatives, to managing change programs, and crises for clients. He's also a spokesperson, media, and crisis trainer, having worked with executives from the pharmaceutical, technology, sports, and automotive sector. 

Darren has been recognized broadly for integrating creativity, analytics and digital thinking into agency business solutions, and building strong agency cultures. He was honoured with the "CSR Ambassador" award by the Shanghai government and listed as an inaugural Asian Innovator 25 by PRovoke media. Darren previously taught strategic communications at Fudan University /London School of Economics and serves on the advisory committee at Republic Polytechnic in Singapore. A fluent Mandarin speaker, he's a regular industry commentator, speaker, and awards judge.
