For the fourth year running, we are proud to be joining forces with Stand Up To Cancer and Mark Evans to host The Marketing Industry Sprintathon 2024.
In partnership with Stand up to Cancer, we hope you will join us once again to collectively run the distance of a marathon whilst raising money for this amazing charity.. All you need to do is gather together your team of four and start training to run a 400m relay (4x100m) against other industry teams.
Come along for another feel-good day catching up with familiar faces, industry friends and colleagues and help raise funds for life-saving cancer research and the rising marketing stars of tomorrow. Joining us at the event is Jack Green a double Olympian having represented Great Britain at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay events. So with the Paris Olympics only just around the corner, this is your chance to meet an Olympian, maybe even run with one and be part of your own epic running race.
THE DETAILS
Wednesday 12 June 12:30-4pm Battersea Park Millennium Stadium
- £1,000 +VAT per team (four individuals per team)
- Each team member will receive a t-shirt on the day.
All funds raised will be split between Cancer Research UK's Stand Up To Cancer campaign funding life-saving research to help beat cancer faster and The Marketing Society to support the rising talent of the future. Support The Sprintathon here.

This annual mass participation event has been described as a “mash-up” of the 1960s’ British game show ‘It’s a Knockout’, the Olympics and a school sports day. You don't have to be the fastest runner, you can do it in fancy dress if you want or you can run as fast as you can to get a PB - whatever your style, we want you there!

JOINING US ON THE START LINE
Jack Green, a double Olympian having represented Great Britain at the London 2012 and Rio 2016 Olympic Games in the 400m hurdles and 4x400m relay events.
The trailblazer, Amy Conroy. From overcoming personal tragedy early in life, she is today a three-time Paralympian and a World and European Silver Medalist in Wheelchair Basketball. She co-captained the Great Britain Women’s U25 Team to become World Champions in Beijing and made history with her team at the Commonwealth Games last year.
Amy wholeheartedly believes in the power of a positive mindset and is on a mission through her work as a disability and inclusion activist, brand ambassador, model and public speaker to show that if you believe - you can achieve the impossible. She lives and breathes by the mantra to ‘just go for it’ and is determined to blaze a trail and encourage others to do the same. She is happiest giving back to cancer charities and inclusion projects through her work as an ambassador.
