As 2020 comes to a close, it’s time to reflect on what we’ve accomplished throughout the year; to celebrate how our industry has overcome unforeseen challenges with agility, creativity and speed, and discuss what more we can achieve in 2021.
We can’t think of a better way to do just that than at The Marketing Society’s inaugural GCC Awards. Join us on Wednesday 9 December, 6pm - 8pm GST at The Siddharta Lounge, The Grosvenor Hotel, Dubai Marina.
It will be a relaxed and informal affair, an opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces and meet new members of your local community, and we have taken Health and Safety precautions to ensure that you are safe throughout the occasion.

Process
Our members and others from the marketing industry will nominate their Brand of the Year and Marketing Leader of the Year, following a criteria. Our Brave Leaders Committee made up of marketing leaders from the region, will then discuss, debate and review the list to decide by majority on the winner, with a private ballot vote.
The Brand of the Year GCC with LANDOR & FITCH
To be considered for this award the nominated brands must have taken a brave and bold approach to marketing over the past year, taken risks in a challenging environment, pivoted and transformed their business model or were a force for good on society in general within the region.
The Marketing Leader of the Year GCC
This award is designed to recognise and celebrate the extraordinary talent in the region. To be considered for this award the person must have taken a brave and bold approach over the past year, leading their organisation, taking risks in a challenging environment, pivoted and transformed their approach or were a force for good on society in general within the region.

History of our awards
We have been hosting awards at The Marketing Society since 1985 in the UK. Previously the Awards for Excellence and Excellence Awards, we relaunched The Marketing Society awards at the end of 2018, renamed our Brave Awards. They set the standard of marketing excellence and have been an institution – establishing their reputation as the UK’s leading marketing awards. We are excited to be bringing a new award to the GCC region.
