Join us for a guided session on building your network in The Marketing Society Community Platform. Pip Jamieson, Founder and CEO of The Dots, the technology behind the platform, will take you round it step by step, share the tips that help Members get the most from it, and help you ask your first question before the hour is up.

This is a relaxed, practical drop-in session where we take you through our new community platform together, show you how it works, and get you using it there and then. It's designed to bring you along with us rather than leave you to work it out alone, so you arrive curious and leave knowing your way around, with a clearer sense of how the platform fits into your membership.

What it's about

At our first session, Members from Dubai, Lisbon, Birmingham and London came to find peers in a new city, connect with fellow founders and get recommendations they could trust. They also picked up a few things most Members don't know, such as the fact that posts ending in a question mark are shown to more people, and that you can message any Member directly without connecting first.

We'll start with why the platform exists and what it's for, then walk you through how it works, from building a profile that helps the right people find you to joining your local community and the groups most relevant to you. We'll finish by helping you post your first question, so you leave having used the platform rather than just watched a demo. We'll be on hand throughout to help with anything that's tripping you up.
