Jon Block is a seasoned product leader and technologist with over 25 years’ experience building collaborative teams, driving digital innovation and shaping transformative product strategies. From broadcasters and ad-tech companies to startups, Jon has led the development of cutting-edge platforms, including AI-powered tools and groundbreaking media technologies. 

Most recently, as Chief Product Officer at VIOOH, Jon spearheaded the creation of a real-time advertising platform that generated £100M+ in programmatic revenue. He also launched an innovation lab for rapid prototyping and led initiatives blending creativity and technology to redefine the out-of-home advertising industry. 

Today, Jon is Founder of Syllepsis, an AI innovation and knowledge engineering firm. Founded in 2024, Syllepsis structures organisations' institutional knowledge - their expertise, their evidence, what makes them distinctive - into a form AI can read, reason over and act on. The same AI models are available to everyone, so what matters now is not the tools themselves but the knowledge they can draw on. 

In his spare time, Jon is a father of three, a long-distance cyclist, an avid board gamer, a tabletop RPG enthusiast and a performer of jazz standards on the ukulele. He also enjoys writing biographies about himself in the third person, which is, frankly, a bit odd
