In 2022, The Marketing Society and TikTok launched a new Scholarship – a chance to help accelerate the careers of young marketers in the UAE.
To mark the 50th Anniversary of the UAE, we offered 50 Scholars a complimentary year-long programme of events, training, webinars, mentoring and more, helping to grow marketing and leadership skills in high potential individuals.
What do the Scholars get?
Each Scholar will receive a one year Subscription to The Marketing Society, providing access to our thought-leading content, publications, webinars and more. There will also be a carefully curated programme of events (hearing from the leading marketers in the region), training sessions from world-class facilitators, mentoring from Marketing Society members and training sessions from TikTok senior leaders.
Topics that will be covered include: Communication Training, Personal Branding, Leadership Development, Emotional Intelligence, Web3.0 and the Metaverse, Storytelling and more.
Applications are open closed for 2023 and the judging process will take place over the next few weeks. Applications will be open from 1 September 2023 - 31 October 2023 for the 2024 course
Who can apply?
- Anyone who has fewer than 5 years’ of experience in the marcomms industry
- Those currently working in a brand, agency, consultancy or start up
- Applicants must be based in the UAE, with physical sessions predominately taking place in Dubai
Any applications outside of the above criteria will not be accepted.
Scholars must attend at least 70% of the sessions in order to graduate from the programme.
How are the Scholars selected?
Once the applications are closed, a jury of CMO members will select the 50 stand out submissions. The judging day will take place in November and applicants will be informed by the end of November if they have been successful or not.
