Peter Kenyon is a Board Adviser at Atlassian Williams Racing, responsible for the team’s commercial and marketing functions.

Peter is a leading figure in UK and global sport, becoming one of the most influential executives in Premier League football during the 2000s and now leading Williams Racing’s push for commercial success.

Making his name as Director and Chief Executive of the sports clothing company Umbro International, he moved to Manchester United to become Deputy Chief Executive in 1997. He was promoted to Chief Executive in August 2000 and led the team to become one of the biggest brands in international football. While at the club, he secured momentous deals with Vodafone, Nike, and a ground-breaking merchandising agreement with the New York Yankees. His tenure also delivered remarkable on-pitch success, with Sir Alex Ferguson leading the team to four Premier League titles, one FA Cup and the famous Champions League treble in 1998/99.

Moving to Chelsea as Chief Executive in 2003, Peter continued to bring in record deals, including shirt sponsor Samsung and kit supplier Adidas. Again, the team enjoyed huge sporting success, with Chelsea winning its first Premier League title in 2005 under Jose Mourinho and repeating the feat in 2006. During his time at the club as Chief Executive and on the board, Chelsea won another Premier League title in 2010, four FA Cups, two League Cups and their first-ever Champions League.

Since leaving Chelsea in 2012, Peter has advised a range of sports organisations and leaders and joined Atlassian Williams Racing in October 2022 as an Adviser to the Board responsible for commercial and marketing.
