Renate Baur-Richter is the Program Manager at SEDRA Foundation, a hub for inclusion of People of Determination that works across multiple sectors in the UAE.
Over the past 15 years, Renate has held several executive positions in the public and private sector with a proven social-economic impact in the UAE and Europe. A Social Enterprise professional with extensive experience in developing strategies and leading operations with a focus on people of determination and mental health.
A big believer in the positive power of an accessible and inclusive community, she developed award-winning and profit-making social enterprises and created innovative concepts for youth of determination in the Emirates and sustainable CSR programs which involved saving camels and grocery shopping. One of her most interesting project failures was the co-founding of the first inclusive Montessori School in Germany. Renate received her Masters in "Management of Social Enterprises" from Danube University in Krems, Austria.
