Born in Mumbai and educated at Cathedral and John Connon School, he holds four degrees from the UK's most prestigious universities; an
MPhil from Cambridge, an MA First Class from Edinburgh, an MBA with Distinction from Warwick, and a BSc from Manchester. He is an Honorary Fellow at Cambridge Judge Business School and the Marketing Society.

He is the co-author of Climb: Uncover the Secrets Behind Extraordinary Career Success (Pearson), which reached No.1 on the WHSmith Business Chart. As co-founder of the Climb Club, he shapes how the world's most ambitious senior management think about leadership, growth, and impact. Ritchie is co-host of The Climb Show, ranked in the top 14 global CMO podcasts and top 10% of all podcasts on YouTube, with guests including Seth Godin, Sir Martin Sorrell, Paul Polman, Robert Cialdini, and Karen Blackett CBE.
