Rob Gilby is a global media and marketing leader with over 30 years’ experience driving growth and transformation across Asia Pacific. Most recently CEO, Asia Pacific at dentsu, he led a business spanning 18 markets, building high-performance teams and advancing AI-enabled marketing capabilities. Prior to dentsu, Rob was President, Asia Pacific at Nielsen, helping marketers navigate cross-media measurement and audience insights in a rapidly evolving digital landscape.

Earlier, during more than a decade at The Walt Disney Company, Rob served as Managing Director for Southeast Asia and Media Distribution APAC, leading Disney’s fastest-growing international market and establishing the company as the region’s #1 entertainment brand with fan brand favourites Disney, Marvel, Star Wars and Pixar.

Rob is currently a Senior Advisor to AI and data-driven technology firms, including SQREEM Technologies, ADDO.AI and MOONJI, helping companies harness AI for creativity and marketing transformation. He has also served on public boards including the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) and the Singapore Media Festival Advisory Board and is an enthusiastic member of The Marketing Society.
