Scott Armstrong
Founder, Mental Health Advocate, Podcaster, Former Editor-in-Chief, mentl

Scott Armstrong is the founder of mentl, a purpose-led platform built to break the stigma around mental health across workplaces, schools, communities, and government. Through storytelling, conversation, and recognition, mentl amplifies the voices shaping a healthier, more human future — including via the mentl space podcast and the region's leading mental health awards – the mentl awards.
Driven by his own lived experience and a deep belief in psychological safety, Scott works with organisations to make mental well-being a cultural cornerstone - not just a checkbox.
Before launching mentl, an award-winning journalist of more than three decades, Scott held senior editorial roles in the region including Editor-in-Chief of Arabian Business, The Times of Oman and The National, bringing a storyteller’s to everything he does today.
