Our industry, lives and the world today are fast. Sped up by technology, a never-reached goal of efficiency and on-demand culture seeping into every expectation we have. Marketing mirrors dominant and emerging trends and as a result we often find that we’re working at pace to keep on the front foot. Couple that with an innate human conditioning to think ‘what’s next’ before we’ve finished the thing we’re doing and we’re working at a speed and intensity that’s not sustainable long-term without even realising it. Understanding how you react to the pressure pace brings can allow you to pre-empt it and hone methods so you can work more resiliently. Here are some tried and tested methods to try.
