Tracy Hall is an accomplished author, keynote speaker, and seasoned executive with over 25 years of experience in global marketing roles with tech giants such as eBay, GoDaddy, Virgin, and Block (Square, Afterpay, CashApp). With a career spanning some of the most renowned brands in the world, Tracy has played a pivotal role in shaping marketing strategies, digital innovation, and customer engagement across multiple industries.
In 2019, Tracy's life took an unexpected turn when she became known as the “last victim” of Australia’s most notorious conman, Hamish McLaren. Her harrowing story was featured in the hit podcast Who the Hell is Hamish? by The Australian, drawing widespread attention to the devastating impact of intimate fraud. In May 2024, Tracy released her memoir The Last Victim, offering an unflinching, raw, and insightful account of her relationship with McLaren and the profound emotional, financial, and psychological toll it took on her life.
Today, Tracy is an advocate for victims of scams and fraud, working with organisations across the globe to raise awareness and educate others on financial empowerment, resilience, and rebuilding trust. She was recently named as one of the Top 20 Fraud Experts to follow on LinkedIn by Trustfull. She partners with renowned institutions like VISA, Westpac, NAB, ACCC, Tinder and PayPal to combat intimate fraud and scams, offering keynotes, workshops, and corporate consulting to help individuals and businesses better understand the risks and impacts of financial crime.
Beyond her professional work, Tracy is dedicated to giving back to her community. She serves as a board director for Mongrels Men, a men’s mental health charity, and as a special advisor with CyberTrace - an organisation that investigates cyber fraud and stolen cryptocurrency. Tracy also advocates for the development of a resilient mindset in the face of adversity. Her story resonates with millions, as scams affect everyone, and her ability to articulate her journey with authenticity and strength has empowered countless people to rebuild their lives after experiencing betrayal and loss. Tracy lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney with her 15-year-old daughter.
