'How to network without losing your soul - Increase your ability to build rapport with others quickly and expand your influence in business.'
This workshop is aimed at those who know they need to be better at networking in both their career (and even in their social life) but recoil at the thought of it.
Fear not! Join this practical workshop from Louisa Clarke and David Kean, authors of the international best-selling book Catalyst, to learn the skills you need to be a great networker without having to sell your soul.
What to expect from the workshop
We all need strong personal networks, both in our personal lives and in business. Great communicators and business leaders know how to create those networks by creating personal chemistry with the people they meet. They also know how to keep those connections strong and active. This workshop will increase your ability to make connections with people easily and quickly and help you lose any fears around networking and meeting strangers.
This three-hour session will be delivered via Zoom, led by Louisa and David and will cover three key areas:
Catalyst: Why and how to be one
Being a storyteller and a story listener
Chemistry: Action and reaction
Creating the right impression, just by being you
Connection: building and maintaining your connections
How to make the most of the opportunities you create and to deepen your business relationships
This will be an interactive and engaging session designed to equip you with practical tools and increased confidence to transform your approach to networking, making it fun and infinitely more effective.
Stephen Maher, Ambassador for and ex-Chairman of The Marketing Society says:
"The Catalyst guys are, quite frankly, phenomenal – brilliantly engaging speakers, truly eloquent writers, highly entertaining lunch partners and permanently curious about people and things. They light up the room and all their wisdom and deep experience on the business of networking and will increase your business effectiveness for sure."
Praise for Catalyst the book
“Humour is one of the things that increases when you share it as the authors of this immensely good natured book on the human touch in business know. But I also found myself thinking about plumbing metaphors. May the good lord spare us from pipeline accelerators, but here you can read and understand how in business, as in life, it’s better to be a radiator than a drain.”
Stephen Bayley, recovering design guru and author of Value: What money can’t buy. A handbook for practical hedonism.
