Future Leaders programme includes a series of lunchtime sessions with senior Business Leader members and Fellows of The Marketing Society.

Our next Future Leaders session will be hosted virtually with Laura Cheyne, Head of Marketing at the National Trust for Scotland.

Laura has 17 years' experience in the marketing industry. Leading a small team her role encompasses developing the Trust's brand and marketing strategy to promote the charity's purpose and inspire people to experience the special places the Trust protect across Scotland.

As a long-time supporter of tourism in Scotland, she currently sits on the board of the Association of Scottish Visitor Attractions (ASVA).  Laura is also committed to developing a strong marketing community in Scotland and was an active member of the Marketing Society Scotland.

Previously, Laura spent 5 years as the Marketing Manager for Historic Scotland engaging with both domestic and international visitors for world-famous attractions such as Edinburgh and Urquhart castles, with her final campaign for Stirling Castle winning many national awards.

The Future Leaders events aim to provide members with insights to leadership skills as well as inspiration and advice for their career. The sessions are aimed at marketers aspiring to become future leaders - either at the start of career or those who have returned to work after a career break or career change.
