Member Interview with Mah Min Erh

Mah Min Erh

We are delighted to bring you a Member Interview with Mah Min Erh, Senior Director, GTM and Regional Hub, Palo Alto Networks

What’s your golden rule?

Do your best.

Who has been your biggest influence?

Lee Kuan Yew. The idea that people should be recognized and advanced based on their abilities and effort, not their background. It reinforces the importance of taking ownership, putting in the work, and always striving to do my best. While not everything is within our control, the discipline to consistently give our best and improve is something we can own, and over time, that effort drives meaningful outcomes.

What is your most hated business expression?

Think outside the box.

What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

Setting up and coaching my kids on dropshipping. It wasn’t just about making money. it was about giving them a hands-on way to learn how business actually works and more importantly, the use of AI to power the business.

What is on your mind the most right now as a marketing leader?

How to bring out the best in my team.

Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?

Connecting with peers and learning

Why does marketing matter to you?

It tells a story and the story engages your customers/prospects. But it's not all about the "glamour" of brand, it connects and converts to demand.

Tell us something that’s not on your CV

Competitive
