What’s your golden rule?

Data over guesswork. If the numbers don't support the strategy, the strategy won't work

Who has been your biggest influence?

I’ve been shaped by many individuals at different stages of my career, particularly high-performance leaders across MENA and my global network. Working across agencies and platforms, got me in paths with many influential names, to name a few: Elie Milan, Tahaab Rais, Tarek Abdalla, Tania Barr, and Tom Roach
Those are some of the individuals who taught me how to balance teamwork with accountability, and ambition with execution.

What is your most hated business expression?

“make it go viral”
It is usually a sign of lacking strategy; since going viral is an outcome of a strategy

What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

Turning decisions into a product. Most people don’t need more data, but they need clarity. The idea is to build a system that structures thinking, and outputs decisions fast. I hope no one steals before I turn it into a thing!

What leader do you admire most and why?

Mark Ritson
Because he consistently challenges the industry to separate substance from noise. What I respect most is his willingness to call out flawed practices, even when they’re popular. His commitment to marketing effectiveness and his ability to cut through the fluff with brutal, evidence-based honesty is refreshing

What is on your mind the most right now as a marketing leader?

How to stay ahead in an environment where platforms are becoming black boxes. Since AI is now automating optimization and processes, the real edge here is shifting to better inputs, better data, authentic creative, and clearer strategy.

Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?

TMS provides a platform to network with fellow marketers and share insights on how the marketer can leverage strategies for sustainable business growth because growth doesn’t happen in isolation.

Why does marketing matter to you?

Marketing is sitting at the intersection of technology, data, and human behaviors. It’s the engine that turns strategies into actual value for the consumer and better outcomes for the businesses.

Tell us something that’s not on your CV

I love storytelling, and used to come up with bedtime stories for my kids, which now evolved into writing and designing personalized storybooks for my boys to help spark their imagination and answer the situations they come across as kids.
