Martin Adams
AI Strategist and Serial Entrepreneur with Multiple Exits

I’ve been recognised as a Global Innovator by the World Economic Forum, Top 100 UK Entrepreneur (Maserati list) and a Top 50 UK Innovator (Penrose). I'm driven every day by my conviction that the purpose of technology is to create deeper human connection and raise our collective consciousness. To do this it needs to be built ethically, designed for creativity and underpinned by new creator rights, and I work tirelessly to integrate all of these.
I'm blessed to have founded, built & sold numerous ethical AI, ML and creative businesses over the last 20 years- these companies enable some of the biggest shifts in human connection & creativity since the invention of the computer. This includes Metaphysic.ai (Time Magazine 100 Most Influential Business 2023) and Codec.ai (where I was CEO until our privacy-friendly AI-driven map of popular culture was acquired in 2023). Given my background as an intellectual property & privacy lawyer I'm particularly interested in 'AI for Good.' As a member of the Biden/Harris Administration General AI Working Group and WEF's AI Governance Alliance I was able to influence how AI was developed globally.
As an innovation advisor to CEOs, corporates and governments around the world, I'm an advocate for those who believe technology's purpose is to create deeper human connection and actually distribute its economic rewards.
I get a big kick out of helping people reimagine what is truly possible by bringing the world’s most explosive technologies to life in a way that respects humans. I channel this as a keynote speaker and advisor on the topics of AI, Generative AI, digital transformation, future of work and marketing. I work with boards of directors, companies and governments who want to create impact but know it will only happen if they understand what technology makes possible, and how to change mindset.
I work with clients in tech, financial services, marketing, telecommunications, manufacturing, fintech and more- recent keynotes include the European Commission, Oracle, MIT Sloan, Alan Turing Institute for AI, Telefonica, Aegis Insurance, McDonalds, Warner Bros, Unilever, Deloitte, Arabian Business & Google.
But I haven't always been a technology entrepreneur. I graduated from Harvard Law School, and worked at the Berkman Centre for Internet & Society on the first test-case in digital IP (the Obama 'Hope Poster case), and as a NYC attorney on cutting edge digital-IP issues. So I deeply understand the technical, ethical and regulatory issues that underpin AI and innovation as we all move towards a more immersive Internet.
