He specialises in brand strategy, behavioural insight, and qualitative research to deliver campaigns that influence public behaviour and drive commercial growth. Steve has been recognised for building powerful brand narratives, coaching high-performing teams and shaping senior stakeholder thinking through clear and compelling evidence.

Steve is currently a Strategy & Insight Lead at the Scottish Government developing audience understanding and shaping brand strategy across international and health marketing activity.  Steve has worked on Brand Scotland for the past 5 years leading the research and strategy development for the brand positioning "Head, Heart & Spirit" and the visual identity.
