Tom is The Very Group's Customer Commercial Director and is spearheading the use of innovation and analytical capabilities within the Group’s retail and customer functions to transform how we serve our customers.
During his time with the Group, Tom has overseen the successful incorporation of Gen AI and machine learning into retail, customer & marketing planning & operations, and the development of our flexible fulfilment model that has been a significant step change in the level of choice the Group brings to customers. Most recently, Tom has led the launch of the new retail media proposition, Very Media Group which brings the Group’s rich and comprehensive customer dataset, alongside an award-winning creative platform, to provide partner brands with unique media opportunities.
Prior to joining The Very Group back in 2017, Tom worked for over a decade at M&S across a variety of senior leadership roles where he was responsible for driving category growth, streamlining operations, and delivering new technology capabilities.
