We are delighted to bring you a Fellows Interview with Suresh Raj, Chief Growth Officer, M+C Saatchi North America
The Marketing Society Fellowship is our highest and most prestigious accolade awarded to outstanding marketing leaders who have achieved significant success in the markets they’ve worked in and made an active contribution to The Marketing Society and our industry more broadly.
What’s your golden rule?
Common sense is the most important skill set
Who has been your biggest influence?
A better version of myself, Suresh, 10 years from now
What is your most hated business expression?
"Let's take this offline" - why bring it up if it cannot be discussed in a forum!?
What’s the smartest business idea you’ve ever had?

The displacement of human skill in favour of AI. Not sure the protagonists have thought through where to place the displaced humans. This might potentially lead to long term sustained challenges
Why is being part of The Marketing Society important for your career?
The Marketing Society to me, is a trusted community of likeminded leaders who share a passion of leveraging our skill set to make the world a better place for brand and community.
Why does marketing matter to you?
Because it's the modern day version of storytelling around a camp fire. And every human being is drawn into stories. It's in our nature, so to be storytellers as a career, is one of the greatest luxuries in life.
What do you think the biggest challenge in marketing will be in 2026
Per previous answer, the displacement of human capital in favour of AI
