Brave together during challenging times

March 2020: I hope all is well with you and your nearest and dearest. In these unprecedented times we, like everyone else, although concerned, remain vigilant.

I’m sure many of you are aware of the industry events which have been postponed as a result of the coronavirus outbreak (Advertising Week Europe being the latest), our position is as ever to stay positive and know that in challenging times, there is another way. We’re determined wherever possible to keep leading our industry forward and delivering value to you, our members.

Given the effect on physical events and gatherings, as a team we wanted to reinforce several ways to keep our vibrant community active and engaged – so, we’ve come up several ways we can do this before (hopefully) things get back to normal:

  • We’ve created a WhatsApp group for you to engage in conversation and keep the sense of community alive. Please note this is strictly for members only and operates a code of conduct aligned to our values
  • Hosting virtual events – we’re working towards providing event content through our digital channels including webinars and podcasts. Please watch this space – we will be in touch with details very soon
  • Encouraging you to engage online – you can write a blog for our website, or write an article for our digital publication EMPOWER. If you are interested, please email our Editor.

We’ll also continue to create and curate interesting content from our digital platforms including our website, The Edit and EMPOWER.

It goes without saying that the safety of all of our members is our top priority and we’ll monitor the situation closely and act on government advice, so do keep your eyes peeled for more details from us.
