FRAMING THE CHALLENGE: The Pace Principle Balance
Marketers are at a critical crossroads: the growing addiction to short-term performance metrics is undermining long-term brand growth. Based on WARC’s recent The Pace Principle research, this session will explore the current state of performance marketing in the region, reveal what we’re getting wrong, and outline a new path forward to drive greater ROI, influence, and business impact.
The central argument: brands must reinvest in long-term brand building. In Asia particularly, an overreliance on digital channels — often treated solely as performance tools — has created a significant imbalance.
We’ll discuss how digital channels can do more than just deliver short-term results; when paired strategically with other media, they can drive full-funnel growth and amplify brand and business outcomes.
